Preparation Information:

Ingredients 1 cup black gram split 2 large onions finely chopped 1-2 green chillis finely chopped 1inch ginger finely chopped 1 medium tomato finely chopped 1/2 garam masala 1/8tsp asafetida salt to taste, 1/8 turmeric powder 1 tsp ghee or oil 5to 6 cups of water. Wash and soak black gram split dal in 2 cups of warm water for at least 30 minutes Add the soak dal with water and turmeric powder into the pressure cooker put some oil or ghee before cook, close the pressure cooker properly. Place it over in medium heat let the dal cook for 4to 5 whistles. Allow the pressure cooker to cool down before opening the lid Another the pan ,heat oil or ghee then add all the rest ingredients one by one mis well, cover the pan and allow the tomato to cook 2 to 3 minutes. And mix well with all the ingredients stir and let it simmer over low heat.
